This premium is based on a student living in halls and purchasing £2,000 room only cover online (Premiums are correct as of 23/03/2026).
Student Possessions Insurance—Buy online & Save up to 25%
The 25% saving is obtained buy buying £2,000 room only cover online, as there is an administration fee of £5·00 for policies bought over the phone.
So over-the-phone purchase works out like this: premium £15·00 + admin fee £5·00 adds up to £20·00
And online purchase works out like this: premium £15·00 + admin fee £0·00 adds up to £15·00, saving £5·00 which is a 25% saving against an over-the-phone purchase.
Student Possessions Insurance—New for Old Cover
In most cases items will be replaced as new irrespective of their age or condition, on a like for like basis. A deduction may be made for wear & tear for clothing, rented household goods & college property on loan
Tuition Fees & Rental Protection—From £31·94 per year
£26·94 premium is based on a £4,000 sums insured policy purchased online (Premiums are correct as of 23/03/2026).
Pedal Cycle Insurance—From £42·44 per year
Premium is based on a bicycle insured up to the value of up to £250·00 (Purchased on the Standalone product. Premiums are correct as of 23/03/2026).
Musical Instrument Insurance—From £17·00 per year
Premium is based on musical instrument insurance sums insured to the value of £300 (Purchased on the Standalone product. Premiums are correct as of 23/03/2026).
