Product: Group Contents Insurance For Accommodation Providers

We want to make sure we are doing what we can to support our customers who wish to welcome people displaced by the conflict in Ukraine into their accommodation.

Everything you need to know

Information you will need to tell us:

  • You must let us know if you are taking in someone fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.
  • You must let us know if your total number of residents increase (please note there may be a charge for the additional bed spaces covered).

What will we cover?

  • We will cover all their belongings as set out within the current block policy in the same way as the students up to the current policy amounts insured, in accordance with the master policy schedule, policy wording and any endorsements.

FAQ’s

  • Is this just for refugees from Ukraine?
    • Yes — our stance is in response to the government scheme in relation to refugees who have been displaced by the Ukrainian crisis.
  • If we accept the £350 Government funding for hosting refugees, does this have any impact on their cover?
    • No — we only need to know if your total number of bed spaces that need cover increases – an additional cost may be charged for additional bed spaces.
